Baby Manning is Home Free

On Friday, March 25, Baby Manning donned his best onesie and his new skull socks for his trip home. His release from the hospital was delayed slightly due to tests for a slight case of jaundice, but in the end, happy momma, daddy and baby made the trek from Mount Pleasant to James Island with minimal delay.

Manning is acclimating well to life on the outside; meals have gotten more consistent, and he is reveling (as best as we can tell) in the attention from the family and friends that have visited. Jane has taken a particular liking to him, and is usually the first to check the basinette at the slightest sound from Manning.

All is well, and we are enjoying the beginning of this new chapter ...
